Welcome to ThriftFlip. By downloading, accessing, or using the ThriftFlip application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

ThriftFlip is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze photos of physical items, provide estimated resale values, and generate listing descriptions. The service is provided "as-is" and estimates are for informational purposes only.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

3. Free and Paid Plans

• Free Plan: New users receive a limited number of free scans. Once exhausted, a Pro subscription is required for continued use.
• Pro Subscription: Subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Pricing is displayed in the App prior to purchase.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the service through automated means
• Share your account credentials with third parties

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — are owned by ThriftFlip and protected by intellectual property laws. AI-generated listing text provided to you is yours to use freely for personal and commercial listing purposes.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

ThriftFlip is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of price estimates, the availability of the service, or its fitness for a particular purpose. Price estimates are AI-generated approximations and should not be relied upon as professional appraisals.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThriftFlip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to financial losses based on price estimates provided by the service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated Terms in the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
